Here at Bradkeel Farm we offer a fantastic outdoor learning resource for the hands on and exploration of farm life and what nature has to offer.

Our outdoor learning experiences supports teachers, youth leaders and groups in the community who want to engage learning from the natural environment.

The outdoors provides a new perspective for learning, offering interest, challenge, stimulation and novelty.

Who is Outdoor Learning for?

We can link in with many areas of the National Curriculum and can tailor a range of activities throughout the seasons to suit your requirements.

We welcome visits from

  • Other adult groups that have health & wellbeing goals

All of our farm visits and activities are run by a trained leader (CEVAS), and the farm meets appropriate health and safety guidelines for hosting visits from adults, children and young people. We offer pre-visits to teachers, youth leaders/workers during which we discuss specific learning needs. We provide guidance on preparing to come to the farm, and assistance in preparing risk assessments.

Examples of Itineraries are available on request and for those groups interested in booking a visit.
